When planning our trip, we came across numerous blogs and reviews of the trip from Luang Prabang to Hanoi, labelling the transport as ‘The Nightmare Bus’. So we thought, why not have a crack at it!
As you can see from our previous post, we successfully made it into Laos. What Cati didn’t talk about was the journey that took us from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang; 20 hours of public transport. Shudder.
It’s now just 4 days until I leave my homeland of Wales to fulfil my lifelong dream of seeing the world.
With less than a fortnight to go till we depart the UK for the best part of a year it’s time to say au revoir to my nearest and dearest. First on the agenda my uni friends: these guys are the greatest people you will ever meet. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing these legends for almost 10 years now (feeling so old 🙈) and we’ve officially passed the friends for life mark. Needless to say we used the excuse of mine and Matt’s travels for a get together 🍹🍸🍾 and had a jolly old time in the second city: Birmingham.
Will miss you guys ❤️
So after leaving our jobs and booking our flights we thought it might be a good idea to see if we were actually compatible travel companions! Thanks to mago.net for the quiz 🙂
Check out the video below to see if we’re still going travelling together 😂
